For fun, not gambling

Swoopstaker is a tool for organising sweepstakes. We don't process entry fees, hold money on behalf of organisers, or take a cut of any prize. Organisers run their own draws and are responsible for complying with local laws on prize draws, raffles and gambling.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't use Swoopstaker for anything illegal, harassing or designed to defraud participants.

Free tier

The Free tier allows one active Swoopstake at a time, with a Swoopstaker watermark on the public and display pages. Archived or completed Swoopstakes don't count toward the limit. We may change Free-tier limits in future — we'll give existing users reasonable notice.

Pro subscription

Pro is a paid subscription, currently £4.99/month or £49.99/year (prices may change with notice). Pro includes unlimited Swoopstakes, white-label display, brand kit, custom display slides and a vanity URL.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from your dashboard or via the Stripe customer portal. You keep Pro features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for; we don't pro-rate or refund partial periods. After that, if you have more than one active Swoopstake the most recently updated one remains active and the rest are paused (hidden from public, fully preserved). You can reactivate paused Swoopstakes anytime — Free users can keep one active, or upgrade back to Pro to reactivate them all.

Refunds: we don't generally offer refunds on subscription payments. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us via the contact page and we'll review.

Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry. If it still fails after Stripe's retry window, your Pro features will revert to Free.

UK VAT: prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Discount codes and comp grants

We may issue discount codes (e.g. percentage-off promotions) and free Pro access ("comp" grants) at our discretion. Codes are subject to expiry dates and redemption limits printed at checkout. Comp grants are revocable at any time — if revoked, your account reverts to Free or to any paid subscription you also hold.

No warranty

Swoopstaker is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that auto-synced results data will always be correct. Check official sources for the final word on tournament outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.

Account closure

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account cancels any active subscription at the end of the current period and deletes your Swoopstakes within 7 days (see Privacy).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll bring material changes (e.g. pricing, refund policy) to your attention. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
